Meet Megan. A Hatchery Technician at Rifle Falls Fish Hatchery, she grew up in Colorado, always loved being outdoors. At Rifle Falls Fish Hatchery, somewhere between 100,000 and 250,000 two-inch cutthroat trout are stocked by plane every year, and Megan gets to be a part of that grand task!

Once zebra mussels and other aquatic nuisance species establish themselves in a waterway, they are nearly impossible to remove. That’s why CPW is working with anglers and recreational water users to stop their spread before it’s too late.
