Colorado Parks and Wildlife seeks public input on potential big game regulations changes in Northwest Colorado

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has updated the Colorado Hunting Atlas, enhancing its design and functionality based on user feedback. Key improvements include simplified navigation, improved data layers, better search tools, and a more prominent help menu, enriching the user experience for hunters.

Hunters, mark your calendars so you don’t miss your shot! Big game hunting licenses not sold in the primary and secondary draws will go on sale next week and there are plenty of hunting opportunities still available.

The 2025 Secondary Draw application period has closed.

Colorado hunters should submit big-game draw applications by April 1, 2025, at cpwshop.com. CPW recommends early submissions to avoid issues, and encourages applicants to check their receipts for accuracy.
Colorado Outdoors, Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s magazine, features a wealth of information for hunters, anglers and outdoors enthusiasts.
