Your voice matters. Hunters and anglers are invited to Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Northeast Region Sportspersons Caucus for updates on a variety of important issues.
“Our goal in facilitating this meeting is to provide an opportunity for hunters and anglers to communicate directly with their public representatives about issues that matter to them,” Leslie said. “We also want to be available to answer questions or provide information to the public.”
It’s a great chance for hunters, anglers, trappers, and outdoor enthusiasts to engage with Kassi Smith and Brian Soliday, who represent hunters and anglers in the Northeast Region on the statewide Sportspersons Roundtable.

Sportsperson’s Roundtable and Caucuses

Colorado Parks and Wildlife depends on feedback and advice from our state’s hunters and anglers to make the best decisions about the management of fish, wildlife, and habitat. In order to discuss issues and gather ideas, Colorado Parks and Wildlife convenes a statewide Sportsperson’s Roundtable and regional Sportsperson’s Caucus meetings. The Sportsperson’s Roundtable includes appointed and delegated members from around the state with interests in hunting, trapping, and fishing. The regional Sportsperson’s Caucuses are open to any local hunter or angler and provide a forum for discussing local and statewide issues. For more information about the Sportsperson’s Roundtable and Caucuses, please visit the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website.
