It has already been a busy summer, but human-bear conflict is only ramping up. Colorado is experiencing the highest levels of human-bear conflict we have seen, with more than 7,000 reports of incidents – which includes sightings and conflicts – already coming directly to Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices in 2026.
