Deep into Colorado’s pheasant season, C4C properties provide healthy winter habitat and welcome the next generation of hunters
As lakes and reservoirs lose what little ice they formed this winter, these waters come alive with some of the best trout fishing of the season.
In response to the Parks and Wildlife Commission’s (Commission) direction to initiate rulemaking on a citizen petition related to commercial fur sales, the Division is seeking public input to inform an issue paper (regulatory proposal) that will be presented to the Commission at their July 16-17, 2026 meeting. Public input will be accepted by the Division from April 7, 2026 through May 3, 2026.
By dedicating his time to sharing hunting tips online or teaching safety in the classroom, Isaias is ensuring that every family, regardless of their background, has the same access to our beautiful Colorado outdoors and that our sporting traditions are even more inclusive.

I was born and raised in Georgetown and was taught from an early age to respect our mountain water ways and especially at spawn time. Great video! The colors are amazing.
Robin, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m a graduate of Clear Creek HS (class of 1992). It was great coming back to my old stomping grounds to film these fish. I grew up in the Evergreen area but had many friends in Georgetown and Idaho Springs. Thanks again for your comment on the video!
